Today marked the fifth stop for the Sky Top II World Tour. With only ten stops total and 600 pairs being released worldwide this was, to say the least, a limited engagement. Chad Muska was of course there signing autographs and taking pictures for his latest collaboration with Supra Footwear. Meeting “The Muska” gave me a chance talk with a man who has been at the forefront of the skateboard world since I was a kid wearing Hook-Ups t-shirts and watching the Welcome to Hell video. Thanks to High Point Shoes this very exclusive shoe found pair #417 a new owner at Phoenicia Association.

We just wanted to let all of you know that we are feeling extra festive for Black Friday this year. Be sure to stop by for 15% off everything in store between 10am and 2pm Friday November 27th. Happy Holidays from the Associates at Phoenicia Association.

P.S. This seems much scarier than a mosh pit…..

100% Cotton, Coated Black Denim, Skinny Tapered Cut, Made in USA; 3Sixteen is proud to introduce their second cut of their flagship denim line, the ST series. This skinny tapered cut provides reasonable room in the thigh but has a more aggressive taper from the mid-thigh down to the ankle. The denim features the same custom gunmetal rivets, shanks and natural leather Tanner Goods patch as the SL series. This is non-selvedge option of the ST series, with a light coating to give the pants a slight sheen. Handmade in USA.

Stumbled across this on REVOKs blog great video for one of the songs from the new Black Keys project entitled “BLAKROC”
It seems as though Dame Dash is making some serious moves these days, enlisting the help of Mos Def, Jim Jones, RZA, Pharaoh Monch and many more to create one hell of a “blues” record.
ENJOY THIS ONE KIDS….

Ahhhh yes, the one and only Joker will be playing Los Angeles @ lot 613 on Saturday November 28th. Of course we will be there listening to MASSIVE tunes and rinsing out proper. Until then here’s the newest remix by the Bristol native for Turboweekend entitled “Trouble is”

Our boy Greg Gainor has been helping us out a lot lately, aside from shooting the look book he recently helped film a short video for us. We wanted to capture the product and store layout in a high definition “trailer” if you will, in order to capture the retail space in a more fluid motion. This weekend also brought the two year anniversary party for High Point Shoes, our friend Tom Hall (seen below with his party face on) has been keeping that place in top order since it’s opening and it’s nice to see hard work pay off. Also, copped some new Dearly Departed pins that go great with the five panel cap I have had on my head since I got it. Just wanted to give a little reminder to be on the look out for our new video dropping soon. Easy.

Produced by Martin Dubka (Kitsuné, Cazals …)

Hailing from Torino, Italy, Scarlets are a spirited five piece with designs on life.
Intense and independent, they’re by passing the gloom-wave genre with their own idiosyncratic
sound where melody, rhythm and drum patterns interweave. It’s about pushing forward.
Anti-dumb age, anti-apathetic, antithesis. Pick up a book.
Take responsibility. Find your essence. Grow a voice. Orchestrate an ideology. Get a gang.
They’re everything youth today should be, and everything you want in a band. They’re ready to use their voice overseas.
This is the time.

Well kids as you may or may not know by now, Phoenicia Association is working very hard to keep things moving here in downtown. As we progress we wish to continue bettering our product, service, and overall approach in order to keep things fresh. We’ve been very fortunate to have had the skills of a good friend of mine and web designer, Jay Middleton, to flip the script on our website. We hope the new cleaner approach allows you to stay up to date with our selection of brands, as well as educated about the product. We enlisted the help of Greg Gainor to photograph all the finer details of our merchandise in order to showcase the quality of the garments we carry. These two gentlemen represent a couple of the Associates that have helped launch this new website . On a final note we’d like to thank YOU for the support over the past three months. There are plenty of goodies in store so stay tuned and enjoy the new look. easy.
